The Fallen seems a tad obscure for the average moviegoer.

Mind you, he's almost perfect for a Bayformer - he's perpetually ON FIRE.

To be fair, the title could go either way, either referencing Mr Fallen or Mr Megatron.

Mind you, Roberto did talk (obscurely) about how interesting it would be to have a TF who had been on Earth for even longer than Megatron himself...

What I find interesting about The Fallen is that he's definitely a more obscure TF who was only ever featured in one issue of the comic.

This means that there wouldn't be as much of a history to betray. I mean, screw up Optimus Prime and there are a hundred million knives aimed at your back. But screwing up Fallen wouldn't be as easy or as obvious.

Basically, the PTB would be cutting a character out of whole cloth while still keeping a toe in established canon. Interesting...

Of course, Fallen was originally designed by that putz, Pat Lee. But then, I guess that won't matter if and when Bay is through.
