but for a motion picture? i'm not sure. he does make a great tv episode character. i mean i love debating with my friends about god, omnipotent beings, metaphysics, philosophy etc, but a movie devoted to that will bore the general audience.

Agreed. Q is too complicated to explain in the movies, people wouldn't understand the relation from the series to the big screen. Besides, he's just a quick fix to move stories along. "How can we get person A into situation B....with minimal explaintion?" "Hey, let's use Q" "Brilliant! Cool...now let's go have lunch."

Hmmmm... where did you hear that?

Someone else asked earlier if we knew what was up with TF3 -- just wanted to say that it would be unfair for us to comment on anything we have heard since we are not officially part of it -- all I can say is we have full confidence it will be even better without us!

I've been reading about that for years. I like the reverse conspiracy that says the government will lie that aliens are real to control us.

If the gov is hiding aliens, I have a hard time believing they're ready to tell us about it. For Christ's sake, they haven't even declassified Lee Harvey Oswald's 1962 tax returns, even though he is supposedly a lone nut!
