Not his style at all. He doesn't even live in LA. He likes to keep a low profile, and just enjoys laughing at us as we make clowns of ourselves during PR stuff.

I hugged Don at the "While She Was Out" premiere. I'm not proud of it. But there was an open bar!

In addition to that question... Bob, have you ever met Megan Fox? If so... At the premiere parties, did you ever try getting her...drunker?

I'm not saying it's your fault by far. You said you guys weren't pleased with The Twins (Skids and Mudflap) in ROTF, so that says something. You guys probably did all you could.
I'm just saying more in general, someone needs to tell Michael Bay what works and what doesn't.

I'm curious to know if Bob is taking responsibility for the balls, or for not having the balls to kick Bay in the balls and tell him balls are no good.

That is in no way Bobs fault. Scott Farrar should've said something there.

So Bob, as a Trek Fan, what was your favorite species the federation encountered? I myself am a huge Borg fan, but I gotta love the Klingon's style.

Except that's not what happened to Megatron that I can recall. I assumed it was because the shard lost it's leftover energy after reviving Jetfire, and the thought of using it to revive Prime simply didn't cross Sam's mind (seeing as the All Spark is what killed Megs in movie one, I certainly wouldn't have tried it).

Also, were Sam's partial insanity/halucinations/whatever you want to call it ever cured? It would make a nice G1 tie-in if The Primes in TF "Heaven" transferred the knowledge from Sam's brain into the Matrix (and then into Prime's spark during the resurrection).

And I want to second the question about Sam's "I'm not a robot ambassador" line being possible foreshadowing into future movie plots? It seems to me that if he were playing an active role of that sort, you could make him integral to the plot without the need for MacGuffins.

Lastly, was their something special about our Sun (elememental composition, size, age, position in the galaxy) that The Fallen chose it and not one of the billions of other stars in The Milky Way, or is he just a dick that hates Squishies?

Thanks for being here, and please stay on.

Roberto, a while back someone said Alex and you will definitely not be back for a third... I read somewhere that you don't have any idea's right now for a third, but that doesn't mean your DEFINITELY not coming back, right?

Roberto, are you still tempted to do TF3?

Star Trek worked out very well creatively, but the BO numbers can't compare to TF, and I think that TF3 may come out better due to a lack of Strikes.

Also, IMHO, ROTF had great character moments. It's clear you took notes. But I will say that my Daughter are PISSED that ARCEE got short shrift, and most non-TF savvy viewers were upset that Wheelie's story was left off.

Nothing will come out better when it comes to the script and story as long as Bay is directing. It's not as if you can see the director trying to tell a story in RTOF but it didn't quiet make it due to lack of time. He simply disregarded the whole concept of the movie as a form of story telling and used the script as a mere excuse for the next big explosion or spectacle.

You could have given Bay 5 years to do ROTF and we would end up getting the same freaking movie.

Hey, there's a question, since it's been hotly debated. Bob, does it actually say in the script, "Arcee dies here"? AKA, what is canon? Did Arcee actually die, or did she just get shot and injured?

Also, I'll sneak this one in again: Was Jolt an official member of NEST like the other Autobots were? Or was he just some straggler Autobot that helped them out? Apparently he was already in the finished script before production started, it just feels like he wasn't. It feels like he was added in in the middle of production.

Agreed, but the fact is that BAY will direct TF3, unless he minds something that will Gross more than TF2. This is the reality. He is also not inclined to change his approach to a formula that grosses this much. The best thing to happen will be to have the Writer give him something to work with. He may be into improv and lowbrow fin, but if he had a solid story structure with characters that have full arcs, he'll make a better film. He make suck, but he still has to work with what he is given.
