1. The idea of all modern technology coming from a single source.
2. The notion that the Pyramids are 12,000 years old and meant to represent Orion's belt(according to the ROTF novelization. There are numerous problems with this, and it's when such stuff is depicted as being in a science textbook I start to get annoyed).
3. A show about pseudo-science.
4. And you're producing a movie about Atlantis, from what I have read.
5. Ancient astronaut stuff in ROTF

I have to ask, and with all due respect because I really think you're a good writer- you don't REALLY believe in all that stuff, do you? Please understand that I know it may be fun to write about that stuff even if you don't believe in it(I have ideas for a Bigfoot movie even though I've come to accept they probably don't exist, either), I'm more like Carl Sagan- there's enough awe and wonder in what is proven to exist in the universe to make up for the (for some) disapointing fact that a continent sinking is impossible and that aliens aren't really here and probably never have been.
Let' see:

1.) I don't believe all tech came from a single source, however, if our government knows aliens exist, as the last man to walk on the moon believes (Astronaut Edgar Mitchell), then surely some tech was born as a result of studying them. And have you seen this cray video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As-wY...eature=related

2.) I am agnostic as to the age of the pyramids. Have read compelling evidence both ways -- including the evidence that the erosion around the Sphynx was caused by WATER, which would make those monuments far older than classical egyptologists believe. Don't know for sure about Orion's belt, but I have read that possibility in some fun stuff by Graham Hancock. Don't know why you'd be annoyed, though, since the pyramid's construction did indeed take astronomy into consideration. I don't put much stock in what is taught in classes so I don't have any particular qualms with alternative theories. Did Columbus really discover America? Did George Washington really chop down a cherry tree? Did the Gulf of Tonkin incident that got us into Vietnam actually happen? Etc...

3.) The name of the show says it all, no?

4.) Atlantis? Agnostic. Have read compelling theories, and they don't necessarily involve a continent sinking underwater. My favorite idea is that Atlantis is below the Arctic ice and that it got there through the process of plate tectonics -- the existence of Atlantis would only prove that our civilization is older than we commonly believe. That doesn't sound impossible to me.

5.) Ancient Astronauts - again, I'm open to the idea of it. Think it is just as likely as not.

And Carl Sagan surely believed in Aliens, right?

Roberto,do you think you have done all you can to make TF:ROTF better than the last movie?

Is anything bothering you right now about the movie? I'll be ok with cryptic responses.

Roberto, Am I right in thinking the the Orions Belt theory comes from the same (or similar) source that clains that Angkor Wat in linked to the Draco constellation?

Some books have connected the two, yes, but not the Hancock book I am thinking of -- I think it's called "Fingerprints of the Gods."

Roberto,do you know how many easter eggs are in the movie?

How do you feel about the length of the movie now? I remember last time you said you were disappointed with the length of the last one. Is there anything else we should get ready to cringe over in the movie?

I guess I would say that if you loved the first one, you'll love this one. If you were mixed on the first one, you may feel similarly this time, but with a slightly different list of complaints! But I do think less complaints!

Are you cool with the amount of character development for the new Transformers in the movie for the most part?

What do you say about how there are those who don't like how some Transformer dies only to be brought back to life again and end up dying a second time?

Oh and someone pointed out how whenever Prime kills someone that he likes going for the head,coincidence or not?

Thats a very cool and intersting video you posted, and anything Edger Mitchell coments on about aliens is a very worth while listen, the man has incredible credentials and has no reason to make that shit up, why damage such an amazing career with alien BS, I believe him more or less.

Now hes a guy (video below) who has quite a tale to tell, very out there and he odviously believes it, starting with part 7, you can go back further if you want, he basicly explains what this world is, how it came to be and where its going, all alien stuff, the video series is long but if someone where to believe in what he says its more crazy than most Hollywood movies but at the same time not that unbelievable, I just find it INTERESTING!

Hmm, if my gripes were:
* Medicore action scenes (zoom-in, too much shakiness, action-sequences to short (Bumblebee vs Barricade), some too long (city battle))
* Almost no Decepticon dialog.
* Too many humans, not enough Transformers
* Optimus not bad-ass enough.
* Human - Transformer interaction was poor (as if the transformers were more of an afterthought instead of being really integrated into the scenes). Actually, this kind of killed the suspense for me, made the movie somewhat boring.

The common complaints which I personally had no problems with:
* Transformer designs
* Low-brow humor (ok, the pissing scene was awful)

Would I find TF2 a great improvement over TF1?

I always thought Atlantis was just the Oceania/Utopia of its day. A deliberate literary invention by Plato cooked up to illustrate a more abstract concept and based on a variety of contemporary events such as the Minoan eruption and the resulting 100-ish meter tall tsunami.

I think it's fun to explore the idea all the same, but in many ways the inspiration for the story is just as interesting.

Been watching all the "life after people" on history channel, so following their time lines entire cities can vanish from erosion and the elements within a few thousand years. So its hard to say with no evidence that Atlantis was real or not, or and Alien gas station!

1. Bay has said himself that he was just scratching the surface with the action the first time around -- you will like much more

2. Improved

3. Also improved

4. Improved

5. Improved

Hi Roberto. This is my first time actually posting in your thread! I recognize that you probably can't answer my question, but does Devastator actually destroy any cybertronians in the film, even nameless ones? Thanks, and I really enjoy your work and your interaction with the fans here.

Heh, tbh I try not to derive too much science from History Channel or Discovery. But if we can unearth evidence of the contemporaries of the supposed time Atlantis was around, and I think Knossos would have been one of those, then it's not much of a stretch to say that finding remains of Atlantis would be feasible enough. And hell, if it were that tough to find remains of settlements from 3500-4000 years ago then neolithic settlements would be totally out the window!

Hey Roberto,

If you could be a Transformer, what would you want your Alt Mode to be?
