That being said, I'd like to avoid the conspiracy government ulterior motive thing in TF2. I don't want to find out that Las Vegas was created as an energy centre or that the CN Tower is a death ray or that the Pyramids were a base for ancient desert Decepticons like Scorponok or that the Nemesis is inside of Niagara Falls. It's too hokey.
Thoughts on any of this, Bob?

nothing is wrong being british. but an 'ol british far, yes.
well, i hope that was the voice BB chose b/c it was by default. since English comes from England, he probably thought it was appropriate and since he was having voice box issues he probably didn't have the dynamic range; ergo, the monotone british voice. (good explanation roberto?)

anyway, i was doing cardio this morning, and Synesthesia by AFI popped up (don't ask me how, i'm not a fan) on my ipod. it reminded me of a TF video on google a while back.

i was just imagining this video with up-to-date ILM animation and more movie design like bots. some of these scenes would be amazing live action with bay-style live action explosions. just imagine this guys when u see this video. this is what i want the climax of the battle on earth to look like. what do you think roberto? possible?

Say, Bob...

Any idea what they're doing with those old S7 sites? They could be used in another viral game for TF2, or (more preferably) they could be taken offline.

I dunno, if there is some hostile feelings from ex Sector 7 agents, they could convert the sites into some type of anti-Transformers propaganda network. Perhaps headed by a certain Mr. Archevil...

Well, let's be honest: The S7 viral campaign for the last movie sucked. It started out great, but it went nowhere.

Either get us a decent and well-planned viral campaign or take the sites offline and don't bother us with that tripe ever again.

i think the origin of the cube is not necessary, as it has taken on that of a Godlike stature, as Optimus stated "Before time began, there was the cube". The cube in the story always was, there was no beginning, and you don't need one.

That's a pretty cool concept to be fighting on the very surface of the object you hope to control (although I guess in the real world, the goal is generally about taking territory anyway). Have you guys fully fleshed out what you feel are the main abilities of the cube, where it came from etc. or do you plan to leave that open ended?

Storywise, no you don't have to answer that question. But completists like myself need answers!

They weren't shown fighting on the surface of the cube. The scene being talked about is that short little sequence right at the beginning where it zooms out and you're looking at the cube.

The scenes on cybertron that prime showed were scenes on cybertron.

I'm like that. Everything must be explained. But like mikeyrukus1 said, I suppose it’s not necessary. It’s been destroyed now, anyway.

Script formatting question:

You're writing a dialogue exchange between two characters over a communications network (walky talky, cellphone, whatever). Scene switches from the environment of character A to character B on the other end of the line. How do you attribute the dialogue coming over the phone? O.S., V.O., or something else entirely? Just make mention that they're talking on the phone at the opening of the scene and let the director sort it out?

Oh yeah, you're right. I got those two confused. And here my imagination was running away with the possibilities...

Bob, before movie 1 you gave me a description of what you felt Megatron is all about. Could you give me the same for Starscream?

And there are a ton of Shockwave fans on this board, he really should make an appearance in some form in this film. Do you like Shockwave? (Comic incarnation is superior to cartoon)

I think it's marked as V.O. if i remember correctly (you could also go the cheap route and just write (CONT'D). And don't forget the INT. and EXT. at the locations if you switch between the characters. It's obvious but still... happened to a guy I know.

That's what I figured. I've got the INT/EXT fine, but that leads to the question, if you're in space, does NIGHT/DAY attribution matter?
