Heh. VERY true. No shaky-cam and overdesigned bots, so you can't actually see who's who (and which way is up) ...

What makes you think I'm talking about the old movie when I mean we shouldn't drop everything that came before? I was more talking about keeping true to the characters (visually et cetera), some story details (like e.g. Magnus not being a new rookie suddenly) and so on and on.

The movie ranges from awesome to okay until Screamer's death, then it's pure garbage. Granted, it's garbage before that as well if you don't know the toon but at least fun to watch garbage with some great aspects (VAs, style, etc.)..

Not all the characters in the movie or season 3 was bad. Actually i remember some characters from S3 more then i remember some characters from S1 and S2 but maybe thats just me. Even if they turned into futuristic vehicles i really liked some of the characters like Kup and Ultra Magnus.

Hell even in S1 and S2 you had TF's that turned into futuristic vehicles like Jetfire.

For me they had so many bakcground characters in S1 and S2 that hardly got any screentime other then action scenes so i don't find them so interesting.

And speaking of music, call me crazy but i actually find the Season 3 intro music the best.

Anyway, are you there, Roberto? Back to work on TF2 yet? And how about Star Trek?

Roberto's been chatting away on Trek. I love that. They seem extremely open about the entire production schedule.

Hey Roberto...

If TF1 was Bumblebee and Primes movie (as far as robot stars go), who's movie would you say TF2 is going to be?

Will the Decepticons have any scenes to themselves like the Autobots had in the first one?

Also, Roberto, can you provide any hints as to the tone of TF2? Even with a short ouline, I'm sure there is much work to be done. I'm not horribly concerned that Mike went all Batshit-crazy during your hiatus. As egomaniacial as he seems, he also seems to know his place. Perhaps I'm wrong on that.

Bob, are you looking to strike the exact same tone as film 1 or will the sequel be more serious and thought-provoking? Will it be a smarter film, more science-fictionny?

There is an art to flying, or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. Clearly, it is this second part, the missing, that provides the difficulties.

There are no limits on what you can believe but there are limits on how you can behave. It's called the law, and no one is above it.

Too early to tell. Obviously, Prime will always be central, but our structure allows the freedom to have others step up. Will know more later.
