Ok, so I know this is severely off topic, but did anyone else go see Alien vs. Predator? If not, don't!!!! If you already have, my condolences!! While my friends and I found several parts to be insanely funny, the general feeling in the theatre was that the movie was terrible. Please feel free to use this thread to rant, it should be fun!!

Thanks for the warning. School starts tomorrow so I'm probably going to see a movie today to celebrate the end of summer break, and I was thinking about going to Alien vs. Predator. Maybe I'll see I, Robot... for the third time! :rolleyes: I liked that movie.

I saw Alien Vs. Predator on friday and liked it. The only part of the movie I had a problem with was one of the fights between the main Predator and an Alien. They animated the alien moving faster than the framerate so it came out a little choppy, and the used kind of a diagonal camera angle so it gave that 10 second sequence kind of a power rangers feel. Other than that I really liked the movie and the only complaint I heard from anyone was that the Predators didn't have any new weapons. I would recommend this movie.

Well, once we establish what the general opinion of AVP was we can use it as an example of do this or don't do this for the Transformers movie. Y'know, learn from mistakes and successes.

That's tenuous to say the least, especially since the thread was started as a vent outlet for AvP.

Maybe I should start a load of threads about other movies and completely spam the first page:

Goodfellas - The level of violence. Could it work for Transformers?
Thunderbirds - A good interpretation?
Bed Knobs and Broomsticks - To silly for Transformers?

Alright, so I'm going to just say this:

Everything about this post was made and titled what?, OFF TOPIC!!! It's there in the title of the thread and in the first 10 words of my original post! I clearly stated it is off topic, so be that as it may, I think it's clearly enough of people saying "this is a transformers forum" and all that other crap, because once again I reiterate that I SAID IT WAS OFF TOPIC!!!!

If you didn't like the fact that I made this thread, what's the easiest and best thing to do to have it die quickly, very simple....DON'T F'N REPLY!!!! If you're so pissed that it's here, just don't reply to it and it will fade into the pages of the history of this forum, only to be brought up by someone noticing it as they browse through the other pages, at which point it will once again die quickly.

I do understand the fact that this whole site is for the transformers movie, HOWEVER, I have seen others bring up off topic things and not get nearly the amount of crap I did just for bringing up my opinion for another movie and leaving it out there for others to bitch about also, or defend, whatever they felt. So I will once again say....THIS THREAD IS OFF TOPIC AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, THEN JUST DON'T REPLY TO IT!!!!

*EDIT* Oh, and my apologies for not noticing there were other Alien vs. Predator threads earlier. It was very late when I posted, so I didn't really want to take the extra time to hunt them down.

I didn't have to see the movie to get that impression that it sucked. The trailer spoke volumes about it's god awful nature.
